karizma 2

Ashlee is a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She began her dance training at a young age at a studio in Winston Salem, NC. After several years training in mostly ballet, she decided to diversify her training and started attending Dancers Edge.

While training there, she studied various styles of dance and successfully competed in many dance competitions. Her years as a competitive dancer earned her numerous awards and accolades, as well as regional, state and national championships. During her summers and spare time, she expanded her training by participating in various summer intensives, including Wake Forest Ballet Intensive and The University of North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Intensive.

She has also spent a summer teaching dance and choreography at Camp Wicosuta; an all-girls summer camp in New Hampshire.

Ashlee was recently selected to perform a Martha Graham piece entitled “Prelude to Action” in New York City in the Joyce Theater.

Currently, she is working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in choreography and minoring in Media Studies. Dancers Edge is excited to have Ashlee share her passion and unique style with our dancers in the classroom and in doing choreography.
