eric sutphin

Eric Sutphin began his dance training in Asheville, NC at the age of 5,
under the instruction of Beale Fletcher. As an amateur, he won many
titles including Junior Mr. Dance of North Carolina.

He has studied all disciplines of dance from well known dancers
including Savion Glover, Mia Michaels, Ayodele Casel, Joe Lanteri,
Stepp Stewart, and Dena Rizzo. Eric has been educating dancers
for 16 years, and is certified to teach by Dance Masters of America
and Carolina Dance Masters.

Eric is very versatile and loves to share what he feels is a God-given
talent for all phases of music and performing. In addition to dancing,
Eric is an accomplished drummer and guitarist.

He has performed professionally for Celebrity Cruise Lines, entertaining
thousands of people in dozens of countries onboard the M/V Mercury
and the GTS Millennium. He returned stateside to perform on the
General Jackson Showboat in Nashville, TN.

From 2004 through 2012 Eric was the feature dancer and rhythm
guitarist at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. Most recently, he
has choreographed for the major production of “One: The New Show."
